The Prince of Pop Deserves His Crown
I'll keep this short and sweet... Chris Brown is the closet thing to Micheal Jackson we have seen and will see for decades to come. If Micheal Jackson will go down in history as the "King of Pop" than Chris Brown is surely our "Prince!" Name another singer songwriter and performer that can entertain the way Chris Brown does, has and shall continue for time to come. I'll wait.... but not for long considering there aren't any! No true comparisons to this national treasure who has emulated MJ in so many ways. He has lived at the number one spots on billboards since his youthful debut with his first album releasing in his high school days! Over a decade later nothing as changed besides the number only increase even in spite of his mistakes.
Chris Brown gained more than a bad reputation after the incident with domestic abuse with Rihanna but he never let that stop him. What seemed to be his rock bottom has also been branded to catapult him further ahead in his career by accepting the role as R&B's "Bad Boy" in a most respectful way to his bad press from the incident. After publicly showing his regrets and growth from the altercation that derailed him, Chris Brown went on to make many classic records and albums for that matter for the "grown and sexy" tribe that so loves R&B music. He grew up right before our eyes even creating beautiful melodic love songs that are not so common in todays music in comparison to the 70's R&B. He has proven that he can do it all from the perfect club songs to sensual night cap records.
The real reason he holds the crown for being the "Prince of Pop" is non other than his ability to effortlessly destroy any stage with his acrobatic and detailed dance performances to what seems to be and endless list of Chris Brown hit records during each and every concert! The true measure of a man is within the rising from his conflicts! Chris Brown has been transparent through the good and the bad and it makes it that much sweeter to see him back on top in spite of his trials because it was a long hard truth he had to walk down nevertheless he has been accountable for his actions. The good and the bad made him who his is today and he definitely deserves the credit of carrying Micheal Jackson's "King of Pop" torch into this generation! He is our "Royal Prince of Pop!"
